my personal library

My sister bought a digital camera yesterday, a Kodak EasyShare C300. I decided to test the camera and take some shots of my library, located at the side of my little room.

As seen from the pics, most of my books located at the top row are technology-related (Linux, FreeBSD, Windows 2000, Cisco Networking, Perl, Security, Java), mostly from O’Reilly and some hardbound books from Sybex. I arranged them according to color.

On the middle left part are my books about Programming, Harry Potter, Pugad Baboy and some DVDs (Spiderman and Matrix).

The middle right part of the library consists of my Sybex Complete books. These orange-colored books were the starting point of my book collection as I bought most of them using my first salary of my first job. They were affordable for a fresh grad, as all of them are priced only at 399 pesos each.

The lower left part consists of my collections of pocketbooks:
Sherlock Holmes Volumes 1 and 2, The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and other Tolkien Books, The Green Mile Series 1-6, Ragnarok 1-10 and Slamdunk 1-28.

The lower right portion is were I put my Reader’s Digest (since 2002), some of my sister’s Fear Street pocketbooks, Wheel of Time, my audio CDs and a Bayanihan Linux CD.
