Inspired by Tristan Louis’s research into the value of each link to Weblogs Inc, the Business Opportunities Weblog created a little applet using Technorati’s API which computes and displays a blog’s worth using the same link to dollar ratio as the AOL-Weblogs Inc deal.

wordpress.com golden ticket

Last week, I’ve signed up on Wordpress.com for a chance to get an invite and create an account on Wordpress’ hosted blogging service. Today, while I was checking my mail, I received an email with the subject of “WordPress.com Golden Ticket”. This may be a lucky day for me since for now, just like the Gmail invites a year ago, only a limited few have the chance to use it. It’s a bit like Six Apart’s TypePad, but WordPress is free.
